LYRIC

A child off playing
I take my husband's hand
He pulled us to the dirt when
I dressed my best for him
And shushed my mouth for laughing
Two gentle fingers pressed
My lips the moment
He fakes a straight face
He turns to either children
I promised him a few
And this lights him right up
And I am frightened
A child off playing
I take my husband's hand
