LYRIC

[Intro] I'm Upchurch
I was born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised on the outskirts. Times have changed in the city of neons nowadays
Where I'm from, we're the listeners to the Music City tunes. Because we hardly ever get the opportunity to be the voice of the city we know like the back of our hand, that is Music City
They traded the good ol' boy, fist fightin' downtown 'cause somebody slapped his girl's ass, for the manufactured frail man who looks like someone's girlfriend. Haha
I'm here to show that the good ol' boy still exists
Ridin' around in Music City in somethin' that is leakin' hella oil, is too damn loud, whistlin' at long legs and soft waves
Now, I respect the tourists, but I'm not a tourist
I'm not your perfect teeth
I'm not your yes man
I'm not your nice clothes and white smile
I'm the calloused hands
I'm the scars on knuckles
I'm the stress in your stomach
And I'm an uncontrolled fire
I'm Upchurch, and I ain't nothin' but the River Rat.
