LYRIC

Upon on the hill again, we see the magic sign that says, "turn around, look down, you die." never hearing the voice in our own heads screaming out the best advice. We think it's all a lie; it's only a disguise. Now get me off this one-track mind of hangovers from drinking all the words you whispered with your selfish breath. Well, I think I'm through with this need for comfort. I'll relearn the dreams and i'll never look down again. Now what should I do with all of this anger? Well, i'll scream like a child and break all my toys and i'll never look down again.
Question quotations, dramatize dragons, and get me back to my innocence where the jokes were played at high volumes and you couldn't get to me. Well, this is all a lie; you were always on my mind. Now get me off this one-track mind of drunken s**. Goodnight, I'm turning in to sleep upon folding chairs. Outside windows of paranoia. One hand on the bottle, a voice in the calm of the night. Now what should I do with all of this anger? Well, i'll scream like a child and break all my toys and i'll never look down at her.
So tired of having these nightmares. I'm so weak from hearing your voice. You're saying, "yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah, and yeah, you throw like a girl but you'll probably be alright." and so soft, these blankets and sheets now. And so soft, your skin underneath. You're saying, "yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah, and yeah, i've heard it before; now it's time to get better." and what's this? You're moving around now. And what's that? All that you hear from him is, "yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah, and yeah," but what's the use when you can't get a word in?
