LYRIC

The forest green reddish and brown
And splashes of yellow among
Sparkling in the dew
Like tiny flames of blue

The days when roses fade
And gardens on the leafy lawns
Nature's crowning her head
Morning winds around her bed

The autumn is the mirror of my soul
Which loves to float and grow
Grey through canals it flows
Like misery across an ancient brow

People whom I've loved I've lost
And those I seek I cannot find
Still it's whispering into my ear
Among the blackest green:

The autumn is the mirror of my soul
Which loves to float and grow
Grey through canals it flows
Like misery across an ancient brow
