The reason that I cry
I really don't know why
I guess it's just because
A lonely person am I

I may seem happy
Because there are never tears in my eyes
But this is just because
It's my heart that always cries

I laugh on the outside
While hiding behind a smile
Yet, I cry on the inside
Holding in the pain all the while

Hate is a word
I've had plenty of
Yet, so very little
Of the word called Love

So, please understand me
I want so much to be kind
All my Love I'd give
If just a little I could find

I've always been pushed around
Maybe not as much as you
Probably because I've been too busy
To busy being blue

I don't want to be mean
Or to make people sad
I don't want to make them unhappy
Or make them feel bad

I just want to be loved
And Love in return I'll give
Because it's the strongest factor on earth
For which man keeps The Will To Live.
