LYRIC

My sis and I were army brats
We moved a lot, so that is that!
From Fayetteville, Tacoma and Thailand
So here’s the little game we’d play whenever we were on
Our way
And Sergeant Major Dad was in command.

Our CHARLIE ALPHA TANGO liked to sit up on the dash
His TANGO ALPHA INDIA LIMA long
Would swish and sway in Daddy’s way
A few choice words he’d have to say
And add NOVEMBER OSCAR! to the song.

So, on the seat behind him sat our DELTA OSCAR GOlF
Grinning wide with puppy pride, enamored with it all
Our DELTA AlPHA DELTA and MIKE OSCAR MIKE
Both took in stride our need to ride and prayed no one
Would bite.

My sis and I were Army brats
We moved a lot, so that is that!
From Fayetteville, Tacoma and Thailand
And here’s the little game we’d play
When we had something fun to say
And Sergeant Major Dad at his command.

Our FOXTROT OSCAR BRAVO was a farmhouse on a hill
Had CHARLIE OSCAR WHISKYs and a horse ( a very big
Horse)
When Dad deployed we’d move our toys and play out in
The barn
LIMA OSCAR VICTOR ECHO was our farm.

My sis and I were Army brats
We moved a lot, so that is that!
From Fayetteville, Tacoma and Thailand ( sa watdii kaa)
So now you know the game we’d play
And hope you all join in today
The next time you hear HOTEL INDIA.
