LYRIC

Passer By
White paint cracks underneath the midday sun,
No shadows cast upon the ground below.
See soldiers faces all lined-up and going places,
What expressions do they show?
No tears or smiles, for miles and miles, they were long overdue
And all around the silent sound like a heartbeat in a crowded room

And is it how we're living, with our hopes up in the sky?
You say you're really willing, and then you turn your head and sigh
And when it's time, time to be forgiving with your arms
Open wide, you stand aside and say I'm just another passer by

Some men they claim to stand for peace and justice
They say: "united we must stand"
How they deceive, make you believe and send your children
To die in foreign lands.
Your democracy, is hypocrisy, because nobody ever wins a war
And we'll always be locked in captivity if
Freedom's something that we have to fight for

And is it how we're living, with our hopes up in the sky?
You say you're really willing but then you turn your head and sigh
And when it's time, time to be forgiving with your arms open wide,
You stand aside and say I'm just another passer-by

Yeah yeah, it doesn't matter whos wrong or right
Opinions can change but there can be no exchange for human life
Faces are just a visual representation
Of the story below, that never gets known in everday conversation.

Is it how we're living, with our hopes up in the sky?
You say you're really willing but then you turn your head and sigh
And when it's time, time to be forgiving with your arms open wide,
You stand aside and say I'm just another passer-by
Oooh oh oho you say I'm just another passer by
Oooh oh oho you say I'm just another passer by
Oooh oh oho you say I'm just another passer by
